4th of July

We joined Huy's sister, Linh, and her family in Kaysville for our 4th of July celebrations. Although it was a super hot day, we went to the city parade and some munched on cotton candy, others ate nachos, the kids collected a bunch of candy, most cooled off in the shade. It was the beginnings of a great day!

It is tradtion that all the "water" floats go at the end of the parade and cool things off a bit. Well, Tanner and Taylin and Huy were definately cooled off - they were drenched from head-to-toe with everything from water guns, hoses, water balloons, buckets of water, city water trucks, and fire hoses. Many people come prepared to fight back, but we were not some of the prepared. My family took it like real heros and they had a blast!!

After the parade and a wonderful grilled meal, we had our own fireworks show followed by two big shows. From Linh's house, we could see the Kaysville City fireworks and the Lagoon Fireworks. Happy 4th of July!!
