Memorial Day 09

All it was was a little hike at Lake Georgetown and then BAM, you're on YouTube.

Here is how it happened...
In an effort to make the day memorable, we went with some friends for a hike along Lake Georgetown in hopes of finding a little waterfall at the end. Well along the way, we stopped off at the lake to cool off. The kids were having a good time swimming, Huy was off hunting for a snake or some creature with Nike, and the ladies were just laxin', watching it all happen. Until Jamie found a creepy crawly caterpillar.


Too cute of a picture to not post it- Kaylie with her friend Easton, the boy I have secretly married her off too. Yes, already. He is adorable. He is showing her how brave he is. Isn't it sweet. But anyway...

Then, I can't quite recall how it all went down exactly, but either Jamie says she will eat the caterpillar and then Huy negotiates and ends up with an offer of $10 from both he and Steve, or Huy offers and then Jamie accepts, but it really doesn't matter. Below is the proof that Jamie is no wuss!


Here she is telling us all that she will "eat the caterpillar."


The negotiating goes on for a bit as she is contemplating how much it is really worth.

Proof that it is alive and well. Little does the poor guy know he is about to be eaten.

And into the mouth it goes. He was fast and he really didn't want to go in the mouth.

But he does. And then it is a bit too much for him and he literally pooped himself in Jamie's mouth. And that was too much for Jamie too - out came Mr. Caterpillar! Well worth the money? Not so sure, ask Jamie!

We never found the waterfall at the end. The kids were too tired so we turned around. It was fun though. Thanks guys for the great adventure!
