It's here. It's finally here!
Taylin fell and hit her mouth and teeth pretty bad one day in a hotel on vacation when she was 2 years old. When she was 4, the dentist had to pull three of the teeth because they had died (yes, teeth can die). Really, only two teeth needed to be pulled, but she would have been left with one of her two front teeth and a space on each side (often times called a snaggle tooth) and we didn't want that so three teeth were gone...
We wondered how long she would be missing her three teeth...
The two front teeth did come in, somewhere around age 6...
And last week, I noticed the third and final tooth is coming in. Yeah! We have waited a long time for this. She is just shy of turning 8 years old!

Geez, only 6 short years later and finally the tooth makes an appearance! :) Yay for Taylin! Now, did she get anything from the tooth fairy for those 3 teeth that "died"? I would have been so bummed as a kid not getting to do the whole tooth fairy thing, but I guess when you are 2 you're really only concerned about a couple of things. Chase's main concerns, binky and blankie. Well hooray for Taylin! I bet she is excited!
Remind me to show you Chase's funky bottom (front) tooth. Its a split tooth, grew in that way, soooo weird!!
yeah...i am sure it was worth the wait!! i fell out of a camper at the ripe old age of 4 and lost my two front teeth. they never grew in and when i hit eleven...yes eleven, my mom took me back in and they cut my gums and low and behold my teeth grew back in within 5 days...CRAZY. a couple of months later i dived into the shallow end of the swimming pool and broke them again. i now have partial fake front teeth!! take care of those babies taylin :)
Hooray for Taylin! I think she beat me by a year or so :(

We were just as excited when Rebekah lost her broken front tooth & her dead front tooth that she damaged at about 3 years old.
Happy "adult" teeth!!
Gabby knocked her two front teeth out when she was less than 18 months old. Hers didn't come in until she was 7 or 8. She was SO happy to get them. We got her a Walrus ornament with 2 huge tusks for Christmas that year to commemorate the event.
